The Old Bench….

What is it about The Old Bench that makes you want to sit and ponder? I always imagine where they started out and where they end up.  The people who sat there contemplating their lives.....the conversations that were heard....maybe even confessions.......Somehow you always can see things clearly once you stop and sit, its as if you took a "Time Out" from life for just a moment and yet be able to watch everyone else march past you never even realizing your there. Autumn Revisited……

Autumn Revisited!....It's been two years since we launched PineRidge Hills......where did the time go? We have been through two Christmas', Easter Sundays', Summer BBQs', but this is our third Autumn so lets start our anniversary trip with our first season.   This is absolutely my most favorite time of year. Anniversay Week!

Good morning! I thought this week we go back one year to when PineRidge Hills was just getting its feet wet in I'm going to share some of our most popular, and some of my favorite days here on the mountain! Summer Solstice…..

How did you spend The Longest Day of the Year? "Summer Solstice arrived on Saturday, June 21 at 6:51 a.m. EDT. The length of time between sunrise and sunset  increased by one second between Saturday and Sunday and then decreased by 2 seconds today -  Sunday. Our sunsets stay at 8:25 through the first few days of July, but the sunrises will begin becoming later immediately after the solstice. The speed at which we lose daylight is very slow at first, but speeds up each day. This was the present that was waiting for me last night on the doorstep, pretty right? This was a cold wintry sunset...... Sunrise ate Pineridge Hills

Good Morning and Happy Friday! We are up early here at husband - 4:30 AM and then I roll down the stairs at 5:15 AM......Oliver & Duncan like to sleep in under the covers but where ever Daddy is that's where Elvis is! On Fridays we head over to the indoor farmers' market.....every week they bring in fruits and vegetables......we have an Amish family that offers scrumptious baked goods and then we head up to the Orchards......we will try to get down to the lake for a walk and some photo's of the changing scenery......
