Christmas comes to Pineridge…..

Christmas is almost here......... Hello Everyone! It's been awhile since I visited with you, I hope everyone is doing well. Here in Northeastern Pennsylvania it seems Winter has finally found its way up the winding road. Past the open fields and right onto our front porch. And Winter is not alone. Along with it comes a much anticipated event. Yes, Christmas is coming to PineRidge Hills too! The weatherman said we should anticipate snow today. So naturally the fireplace is blazing and all three dogs are curled up with noses in the air as the aroma of fresh gingerbread cookies … [Read more...]

First Monday of the new year and my FIVE New Years Resolutions (Made at midnight on Dec. 31st while drinking champagne and eating a chocolate éclair) are a priority. And knowing that Spring is on its way, eventually, up the mountain! I'm starting with my First resolution - my new (Yet Again) diet! So far so good.......well, I made it thru breakfast without cheating, although those Danish butter cookies have a "Come Hither" look to them! but I will not cave. Country Style Afternoon Tea…..

I have been in love with "Tea Time" since I was a little girl growing up drinking tea the way other kids drank soda! Autumn Wedding

Is there anything more beautiful than an "Autumn wedding"? well, maybe just weddings in general.....but I am just a tad biased towards Autumn. I was married in September and now my oldest daughter is doing the same! September 26th to be exact. Not ever thinking she would fall in love again, a chance meeting has brought us to a new chapter in our family saga and his name is Joey! So what kind of wedding does a transplanted Jersey Girl with an … [Read more...]
