Traveling Doll House…….

.................Have you ever done something so out of character that when you think back on it you can't believe that was you? ...... .....Like running around the toy store with three "Cabbage Patch Dolls" in your arms waiting for your neighbor to come buy one of them cause the store manager said you can only purchase two - but you have three daughters?...... ...........Or braiding the hair on all twenty-seven "My Little Ponies" cause your six year old who is sick in bed thinks they would be happier with braids?..... Oh, I am glad....I thought it was only me that was a little crazy … [Read more...]

Easter Comes Up The Mountain….

Easter comes up the mountain, and hitched to its weathered wagon is Spring! Even the birds are lining up along the road, on top of the telephone lines as if waiting for the parade to start.... Although we had a mild winter here in Northern Pennsylvania, I am glad to see it leave......the daffodils' and crocus are starting to peek through the dirt and soak up the sunshine........The tulips I planted two years ago have tripled, so I am patiently waiting for the burst of color that will adorn the rim of the deck..... Inside PineRidge Hills, Spring is starting to bloom … [Read more...]

Finally, everything in one place.....no more trips up to my oversized closet that was doing double duty as a sewing room.... now, that we really don't need the "Home Office" any longer, it can be re-purposed!  Although its not quite finished - it is functional - which is fine with me...... Autumn Hutch…..

Well, Autumn has arrived here at PineRidge Hills, yes I know I kind of forced it to visit and stay awhile but I had enough of closed windows and not being able to walk on the deck for fear of frying my feet!
