Christmas is almost here......... Hello Everyone! It's been awhile since I visited with you, I hope everyone is doing well. Here in Northeastern Pennsylvania it seems Winter has finally found its way up the winding road. Past the open fields and right onto our front porch. And Winter is not alone. Easter Comes Up The Mountain….

Easter comes up the mountain, and hitched to its weathered wagon is Spring! Even the birds are lining up along the road, on top of the telephone lines as if waiting for the parade to start.... Although we had a mild winter here in Northern Pennsylvania, I am glad to see it leave......the daffodils' and crocus are starting to peek through the dirt and soak up the sunshine........The tulips I planted two years ago have tripled, so I am patiently waiting for the burst of color that will adorn the rim of the deck..... Spring Cleaning…

Well, Time for Spring Cleaning now that Mother Nature has finally found her way up the mountain! This week, here in Northeast Pennsylvania it's going to be in the seventy's.....I'm ready to do cartwheels down the road.....So throw open the windows, scrub the screens and listen for the Robins! A New Creative Room…..

Would you believe I've been sailing thru the Caribbean for the last couple of weeks? How about skiing in Vail? Lunching with Ina in the Hamptons? No? How about clearing out the old office to make my very own "New Creative Room"? well, then you would be right!!! Pumpkins!

          ........Well Autumn  has finally come up the mountain and along with it came the pumpkins....... My dear sister-in-law snapped the above from her front porch! She lives only about a mile from me but she has mostly hardwoods so the colors are brilliant..... This morning was a bit foggy.....I so love to be in the back when the sun starts its journey over the pines - there's something so serene about standing among the trees and just listening. Autumn Revisited……

Autumn Revisited!....It's been two years since we launched PineRidge Hills......where did the time go? We have been through two Christmas', Easter Sundays', Summer BBQs', but this is our third Autumn so lets start our anniversary trip with our first season.   This is absolutely my most favorite time of year. The crisp air and vibrant colors, the wool blankets coupled with hot spiced tea.....the fireplace ablaze with the smell of hickory. Even my "Fur babies" love Autumn. Quick DIY…

Hope your weekend was wonderful...ours was busy! Our good friends Brigid & Glen hosted a BBQ filled with great food, lots of laughter and BFF's.....and yes the Divine Ms. B was there! we had a wonderful time.....Then on Sunday, my husband and future son-in-law, Joey attended the Indy 500 at Pocono Raceway.....I got to spend the entire day doing what I enjoy...sewing and a quick DIY.....
