Potted Herb Wagon…

011finally got my herbs planted on Sunday…..this year instead of planting in the beds along the back of the house, or putting them directly in pots that sat on the deck, I decided to bring my wagon up onto the deck and put it to work!  My husband made this wagon for me several years ago, and I love it! this year it will hold the pots of herbs that I use everyday in my cooking.  Basil, Oregano, Parsley…I couldn’t find French Tarragon or Rosemary so I’m not completely done with my Potted Herb Wagon…..I planted several varieties of tomatoes including San Marzano, I am also going to plant Lavender, which I love.  I’ve decided to move my Bearded Iris’ once they’ve bloomed along with my tulips and make an 8′ circle off the deck so I can see them when sitting and enjoying the Ridge.
I also got the front urns done this weekend, normally I pick up several different plants and merge them all into the planters but I found these at Lowe’s and realized it was cheaper to purchase all-in-one plants! I am so happy I did! I love them…

009 The grass is all cut, and the Weeping White Pines off the deck are growing faster than I can keep up with them! They were birthday gifts from my BFF’s Kim & Tom from Flemington, NJ.

I have my two planters that will go up onto the deck railing – hopefully this weekend they will be over brimming with Petunia’s and Vinca….

Hopefully we start that this weekend.
Well, time to start my Portabella Mushroom Lasagna……and then check out the Blue Bird House and the three other birdhouses we set up….I think I may have some “Takers” on the rental!
