Spring Table

Spring is headed our way….I got it from a good source……

The Birds!

Our feeders have been “Standing Room Only!” even the Robins are willing to wait their turn……AND……the storm Vulcan is only going to give us rain…..no snow…..

So I decided to breakout the new bowls I bought at Home Goods…….hindsight I should have picked up the coordinating plates that went with them….found them on EBay, but waiting until I make another road-trip to Home Goods.  Maybe I’ll luck out and they will still have them…..Keep your fingers crossed!

This beautiful white tureen was a flea market find last week…..$1.00! mint condition…I love it!
The green frosted glasses were another flea market find….25 cents a piece……

Here is a DIY Idea:

Below is a photo of my “Napkin Ring Holder”…for all my cloth and chrocheted napkin rings I use two paper towel cardboard rolls put together and slip them on…perfect wide for them and they keep their shape. and because the holders are rigid they can stand up on a shelf in the corner out of the way….

  1. Hi Lois,

Your spring table is sooo pretty! Those placemats are gorgeous and I love the napkins and napkin rings! Your bird dishes are so sweet — I think I’ve seen those at HomeGoods? That soup tureen is wonderful — what a lucky find. 🙂 I hope to run across a pretty one like that someday; I haven’t had much luck so far.

Thanks for your visit, Lois, and for becoming a follower. I’m signed on to follow your blog, too. I hope you have a great weekend!

    • Thanks for stopping by Denise! I did get the dishes at Home Goods…I so love that store! The placemats and napkin rings were made by my mom, she embroidered the mats and crocheted the rings! Next week I’m going to share the amazing place mats she crocheted for me thirty years ago!
      Have a wonderful weekend!

    • Thanks so much for stopping over Bev! I love the bowls too! I’m mad at myself for not buying more, I found them on EBay for 3x the cost!
