Table runner/pillow

Soooo, your at homegoods…sigh….. and you see this beautiful table runner, but you have enough tablerunners to last a lifetime….but…..its on clearance…..$6.00…..WHAT!…..have to buy it…..ok get it home……Now what?…think PILLOW!

Yup……sewed the sides….opened the bottom and filled with fiberfill…..while watching Halloween Cupcake Wars…..slip stitched it closed and BAM…..a 72″ pillow….fits perfectly across a full-sized bed as an accent pillow, or on my bench……how about the couch? well, its going on the bed in the guest room…..$6.00 and an hour of my time…

.hummmmm, what do I do with the Christmas Tree Skirt I got for $3.00?

72″ runner…..sew down the sides to make the “Flap”…..then open an area along the bottom so you can fill with fiberfill….

Make sure your watching something totally interesting so you don’t even realize your stuffing!

your runner/pillow will look like this…..

I just put a dot of hot glue to hold down the flap….I’m thinking a large button or make a covered button!
