Well the first week of Fall here in Pennsylvania is beautiful…….our days range around 70 degrees and the nights go down into the 40’s…..trees are just starting to turn ever so slightly…..I know that one of these days I’ll look out and Fall will have peaked! So I’m trying to stay ahead of it so I can get beautiful pictures this year!
Next week starts “Fall Foliage” in the town of Jim Thorpe….our county seat…..it’s a beautiful town, …so I will be taking plenty of pictures!
This week I was “Throwing my eyes” In several fabric centers…but I had the most luck at Walmart! I found this beautiful burlap and thought pillows for the rocker, placemats, a valance, maybe all three…..but for now let’s start with the table!
The black dinner plates are from Big Lots this year / the beige salad plate is old probably from Linens n’ things. Out of business 🙁 …. the small B & B plate is Lenox from my collection over twenty years old, but I love them! I believe those are Pheasants just flushed out by two spaniels of some sort…(sigh) too much coffee this morning… the napkins are Ralph Lauren from Homegoods….I love that store…..
Candlesticks and pear also from Homegoods…. the pitcher is over twenty five years old and is from a potter in Athens Georgia…and of course my little white bird!
Next week I have a special tablescape coming…..”High Tea”….Pennsylvania style……have a wonderful day everyone……
